Sporting Events

SPORTS THRU THE EYES OF MY HUSBAND

I might be the only person in the world who compares my husband to Lance Armstrong. However to me, he is good at everything that he does. One thing that I enjoy the most, is watching him have fun in events that he loves.

Soos Creek Botanical Gardens

SOOS CREEK BOTANICAL GARDENS

I went with a friend a few weeks ago to practice taking pictures with our Nikon Camera. We didn't know where to go, so we went for a drive and long and behold we came across the Soos Creek Botanical Gardens. We didn't know what existed until we entered the gardens. This place is a hidden jewel off a beaten path.Who knew this place existed in Kent. It was a nice surprise and it's close to home.

We spent 4 hours there just taking pictures and here are some of the results:

Issaquah Zoo

Seeing the Zoo thru  the eyes of a two year old!!!!

I went to the zoo with my sister Tasha and my niece. She was only two at the time. However she fell in love with the Emu's and thought that the  Tiger's were amazing.

Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening

Robert Frost

Whose woods these are I think I know.
His house is in the village though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.

My little horse must think it queer
To stop without a farmhouse near
Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year.

He gives his harness bells a shake
To ask if there is some mistake.
The only other sound's the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake.

The woods are lovely, dark and deep.
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.
